Ayşegül Turan

Ayşegül Turan [b.1984, Ankara] is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. Her practice focuses on developing methodologies and processes contemplating on the nature of matter, underlying principles of form and the analogies within the subtle and physical strata of existence. She explores ontological questions through the agency of physical phenomena, investigating visceral aspects of material, mechanics of transformation and the essence of things, producing pieces in a number of fields including sculpture, installation, photography, moving image and sound.


She received her MA degree from Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design in 2008. Solo shows : 26Fe
