"7 Days" is a self-portrait series that revolves around the themes of sex, pain, illness, trauma and regret. The 7-day narrative performance, shot over 3 months, utilizes disturbing props, chopped meat, and deranged organs; and Menéndez captures the audience in a suffocating meditation.

During the exhibition, "Mute" will be on loop at the movie theater in the gallery. The 57 minute video, completely devoid of an audio track, shoots an anonymous subject talking to the camera, with his back turned, about his recent HIV infection.
