With over 50 photographs, lyrics and a music video installation the exhibition presents a trip through the life of Munich based photographer and musician Alexa von Arnim (b.1991). Born the daughter of an American mother and a French father, her work is the connection between the various experiences and impressions of her life between Paris and Munich.
Seven self-portraits comprise the core of the exhibition, surrounded by a selection of prints and Instant-Camera prints which conveys a glimpse into the life and the lifestyle of the artist and give the self-portraits a context while still telling their own story.
The emotional striptease of the artist becomes the panorama of a generation. Snapshots come together to tell a story, which is rooted in the concepts of freedom, friendship and the challenges of a global youth.
