The Empire Project will take part in the Contemporary Istanbul with a special selection of fantastic brand new artworks of long standing and new Empire artists. The selection can be seen at the stand 111 in the Istanbul Congress Center between 7-10 November 2013.
The Empire Project presents a wider selection of works this year, in terms of both medium and artist. The collection, comprised of a wide range of mediums from photography and painting to special edition "box sets", silkscreens and artist books created by 20 Turkish and international artists;Ali Taptık, Alp Sime, Banu Birecikligil, Cemil Batur Gökçeer, Burhan Kum, C.M. Kösemen, Can Pekdemir, Cindy Jansen, Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu, Erhan Özışıklı, Esra Rotthoff, Frederic Lezmi, Görkem Ergün, Gözde Türkkan, Halil, Jasper de Beijer, Mehmet Güleryüz, Sena Çevik, Sinem Dişli and Yuşa Yalçıntaş.The Empire Project, with its international collection, has taken part in international art fairs like Marrakesh Art Fair and Viennafair so far, as well as being the only gallery chosen from Turkey to join the 2nd edition of the Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam this year.
